Fox Entertainment FOXA.O and Hulu announced a multi-year content agreement Thursday under which the Walt Disney-controlled streaming platform DIS.N will retain streaming rights to Fox’s extensive slate of programming.

The agreement includes an extension to the platform’s marketing agreement, which is reportedly valued at more than $1.5 billion over four years, according to Deadline.

The new agreement builds on the two firms’ more than two-year partnership, a period that saw a surge in consumer interest in streaming platforms, prompting traditional TV networks to seek partners to host their shows and movies.

Under the new agreement, Fox’s primetime entertainment programming, including “The Masked Singer,” “The Simpsons” and “Family Guy,” will continue to air on Hulu the day after its telecast.

“Our collective marketing efforts, which will continue under this new agreement, have delivered impressive results and helped viewers successfully find the shows they want to watch, when they want to watch them,” said Lauren Tempest, general manager of Hulu.

Disney’s efforts to raise prices and ban password sharing helped Mickey’s House report a second straight quarterly profit for its streaming business.

Fox is also enjoying strong growth from its streaming business Tubi, an advertising platform that is expected to top $1 billion in revenue this fiscal year.

The deal also includes an agreement extension that allows Hulu to air unscripted off-season episodes of a number of Fox programs.
