Janhvi Kapoor is excited about the release of her second Telugu film in Mysore; that’s when Ram Charan will join the shoot

Buchi Babu Sana’s second film after Uppena, RC 16, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles, hit the stage in Mysore on Friday. The director posted a photo of the Chamundeshwari Matha temple early in the morning, seeking blessings from fans. Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor’s film goes on floors

Buchi posted a photo of himself holding the RC 16 script and standing in front of the temple on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. He wrote: “This is the BIG DAY…Most awaited moment. Started with blessings from Chamundeshwari Math, Mysore. Blessings are needed. #RC16.”

JanviSeemingly excited that the film was going into theaters, he commented: “Sir” with fire, heart, clapping and prayer emoji. Ram’s Magadheera co-star Dev Gill commented on the occasion with flag and heart emojis, while his cousin Pawan Tej Konidela wrote, “We are all waiting for this. All the best Buchimaya Eragatisei. (kill him my friend Butchie).”

The producers of the film Mythri Movie Makers announced on Friday that Jagapati Babu was assigned to play the “team character” in the film. They wrote, “Team #RC16 welcomes the incredibly talented @IamJagguBhai as a commander who will impress one and all.” This is not Jagapathi’s first film with Ram; they had previously worked together in Sukumar’s Rangasthalam.

When will the leading actors join production?

Sources told Hindustan Times that Buchi has started shooting for the project along with other key actors. Ram and Janhvi will join the shoot on Monday and will perform a few key scenes. Ram underwent a physical transformation for this role. His fitness trainerShivoham posted a photo on Instagram earlier this year hinting at this.

RC 16 is touted to be a sports drama set in Uttarandhra. Vijay Sethupathiwho worked with Buchi on his debut film, told the press in Hyderabad while promoting Maharaj that RC 16 would be a “sure blockbuster”.
