Woodside CEO Meg O’Neill

Woodside Energy chief executive Meg O’Neill says federal Labor is failing to make it clear to oil and gas developers what consultation needs to take place before offshore projects can get started, despite repeated promises to do so.

Speaking as chair of industry group Australian Energy Producers, Ms O’Neill also expressed disappointment that the Albana government continued to fund the EPA even after the Federal Court found that the climate legal service had submitted fabricated evidence when he sued Santos, Woodside’s rival.
