Two suffered minor injuries in a crash in a McDonald’s parking lot Tuesday afternoon, police say.

As of Thursday, no criminal charges had been filed.

A crash that occurred in the parking lot of a McDonald’s restaurant at the Montgomery Commons shopping center Tuesday afternoon in which an SUV flipped on its side remained under investigation Thursday, Montgomery County police said.

Police said the collision between a 2012 Kia Optima and a 2019 Honda Accord Crosstour happened at 2:30 p.m. at the 1400 Welsh Road shopping center.

Two people suffered minor injuries and were taken to Grand View Hospital by VMSC Ambulance, police said.

The scene was cleared by 3:31 p.m., and five Montgomery County police units responded to the scene, police said.

As of Thursday, no criminal charges had been filed.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
