She said that one day an actor approached her looking for a “chance.” Speaking at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2024 during a masterclass on ‘Safety of Women in Cinema’, she discussed the challenges faced by women and emphasized the importance of speaking up.

Khushboo, joined by Imtiaz Ali, Bhumi Pednekar, Suhasini Maniratnam and Vani Tripathi Tiku, spoke about the challenges faced by women in the film industry. She said: “Women face challenges not just in the film industry but everywhere. You encounter them while traveling in a minibus, a commuter train, or even on an airplane.
