Megyn Kelly repeats Mika Brzezinski’s lewd pose for magazine

Megyn Kelly mercilessly mocked Mika Brzezinski by recreating the raunchy pose the MSNBC star struck for Vanity Fair in 2012 during an appearance on the show yesterday.

Kelly, 54, blasted the Morning Joe star, 57, as a hypocrite for preaching feminism despite appearing with her leg in the air at a magazine photo shoot with her husband and co-host Joe Scarborough.

“You have a photo of them with Joe Scarborough in a strong pose and she’s on the table like that,” Kelly said, sitting on the table and lifting her leg to mock Brzezinski’s pose.

“I’m not dressed for it, but I’m going to show it to you,” Kelly added, laughing during her appearance on Sky News Australia.

In the photo shoot in question, which was published on September 11, 2012, for an article titled “MSNBC’s Hot Ticket,” Brzezinski was pictured sitting on a table in a sleeveless black dress and high heels, throwing her leg in the air.

“Miss Champion, Miss Feminist…” Kelly continued.

“I’m so sick of her damn bullshit about women’s rights and empowerment… you’re complete bullshit and we all know it.”

The former Fox News and NBC host criticized Brzezinski and Scarborough for meeting Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago after they viewed him as a fascist throughout the 2024 election cycle.

“It wasn’t just Hitler and a fascist, it was eight more years of ‘racist, sexist, rapist’, that’s what they called him throughout their entire show and MSNBC, and it all just got forgotten, is that okay? Is he not a rapist? Isn’t he Hitler? – Kelly asked.

The “Morning Joe” stars sparked massive backlash from both conservative and liberal media figures after they revealed they met with the president-elect at Mar-a-Lago to “reconnect.”

Their average viewership was down 20 percent from Monday to Wednesday, and in the 25-54 age group down a whopping 45 percent to just 49,000 viewers.

Kelly also spoke out against the hosts earlier this week, telling them to go “to hell”.

“Go to hell, you dirty jokes of fake journalists,” Kelly said Monday, reminding the audience that the “Morning Joe” hosts initially endorsed Trump’s 2016 presidential bid.

“It’s sickening, it’s so sickening,” Kelly added. “They’re so disgusting.”

Kelly then stated that Scarborough stopped supporting Trump after “Scarborough learned that he was not going to be the vice presidential candidate.”

“He was rejected for the job and they turned their backs, they turned their backs on Trump because access to power is everything to the little guy,” the former Fox News and NBC News star said.

Scarborough said he and Trump

Scarborough shared that he and Trump “didn’t see eye to eye on a lot of things, and we told him that.”

Earlier this week, Scarborough and Brzezinski faced an awkward broadcast following a high-profile report that Comcast was looking to spin off its cable channels, including their employer MSNBC.

The hosts brought up the news after the Wall Street Journal reported that Comcast would be releasing part of its cable TV networks to NBCUniversal, and Scarborough joked that it would mean his wife would have to “give up her penthouse.”

“When this happens, you never know what’s going to happen,” Scarborough said.

Trying to downplay the move, Scarborough said his show “could be canceled in a year,” to which Micah chimed in: “Or tomorrow.”

While she was joking, the remark spoke to the danger MSNBC’s top talent finds itself in, especially after the network suffered from dismal ratings during the election season.

Comcast’s decision to spin off its networks to NBCUniversal several years ago would have been a stunning move, as its channel fleet had previously been among the company’s most profitable assets.

But as a result of the decision, channels such as MSNBC, USA, Oxygen, E! and Golf Channel, will be separated into a separate organization and a separate balance sheet.

Comcast executives said they will not spin off all channels and will keep Bravo, streaming service Peacock and broadcast network NBC under the parent company.

But by shedding its costly networks, Comcast is hedging its bets that it can expand its movie studio and theme park industries without pressure from traditional TV news.

According to the WSJ report that broke the story, the new cable venture will have “an ownership structure similar to Comcast’s” but will “likely need greater scale to thrive.”

That appeared to be on the minds of the “Morning Joe” crew Wednesday, as the hosts ridiculed the move even though they clearly understood it could radically change MSNBC.

Scarborough said, “The big question now on the minds of shareholders on Wall Street before they decide what to do with Comcast stock is whether Micah will have to give up his penthouse.”

“Now, now,” Brzezinski replied.

Comcast’s announcement this week highlights significant changes in the media industry in recent years, with a number of media outlets forced to cut staff.

This month it also led to CNN reportedly launching plans to cut some of its top paid staff after the network also received dismal election ratings.
