Coronation Street fan frenzy as Carla and Lisa sleep together – but it doesn’t look good

Coronation Street’s Carla Connor and Lisa Swain finally hooked up in racy scenes – but it looks like Carla may regret it

Coronation Street fans were thrilled that Carla Connor and Lisa Swain were finally getting together, but it looks like trouble is on the horizon.

Viewers will remember how Carla (played by Alison King) was devastated earlier this year. Her marriage to Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoigne) fell apart when he left Weatherfield.

Carla has since been drawn to DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) and grew closer while investigating Lauren Bolton (Kate Fitton). Carla also gave a job on Underworld to Lisa’s daughter Betsy (Sydney Martin), who is new to the soap.

Hints of a potential romance between Lisa and Carla emerged after a tense moment when Carla gently brushed a strand of hair from Lisa’s face, but Lisa quickly made an excuse to leave.

However, as both women struggled with their feelings, this week saw dramatic changes in Carla and Lisa’s lives. Following Ryan’s (Ryan Prescott) advice, Carla returned to her apartment to find Lisa slumped on the couch after a night of drinking, reports Plymouth Live.

Carla took a bold step and advised Lisa not to get dressed, walked up to her and initiated a kiss, which Lisa happily responded to. They later left the bedroom and Lisa convinced Carla to come back for a second round.

Following their intimate moments, the loved-up couple shared confessions of their past romances, with Carla revealing that as a teenager she kissed girls to “turn on the guy she liked.”

Lisa’s daughter, Betsy, is furious when she discovers her mom’s secret affair, and things are about to take a dark turn. Betsy met up with Mason Radcliffe’s thug brothers and gave them the keys to Carla’s factory, ordering them to rob and ransack the place.

And surprisingly, spoilers reveal that Carla will be attacked next week. When she returns to the factory, she finds it trashed and gets hit in the head when she tries to call the police.

The dramatic development of Carla and Lisa’s romance has fans talking on social media. One fan exclaimed: “That’s how I had to pause the episode the moment Carla Connor said the words ‘don’t get dressed’ for me.” I WALKED AROUND THE ROOM – I’m ashamed of myself, to be honest.”
