At the end of the day’s play, Bumrah received praise from teammates, spectators and online users for his outstanding performance, which helped India bounce back from a poor performance. Among the many accolades, one that stood out was that of Bumrah’s wife Sanjana Ganesan. In her Instagram story, she jokingly praised her husband’s performance.

Sanjana’s post with the humorous caption “Great bowler, even bigger catch” highlights her admiration for Bumrah’s bowling prowess. Sanjana constantly shows his support and admiration for Bumrah whenever he performs brilliantly on the field.

At the height of the match, Bumrah emerged as a formidable force, quickly taking the wickets of Nathan McSweeney for just 10 runs and Usman Khawaja for just 8. Steve Smith and captain Pat Cummins were also victims of Bumrah’s death bowling. With India posting a first-innings score of 150, Australia found themselves struggling at 67/7 when stumps were called.

Apart from Bumrah’s impressive performances, Mohammed Siraj and Harshit Rana also contributed to India’s success by picking up two and one wicket respectively. The Indian team is now focused on ending the Australian innings early in the second day by quickly taking the remaining three wickets. Australia are currently 83 runs behind India.
