Four children suffered minor injuries in crash in downtown El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Four children were hit by a car in downtown El Paso Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened at the intersection of Virginia Street and Arizona Avenue near First Baptist Church around 4:26 p.m.

Firefighters said four children were hit by a car.

The vehicle fled the scene, officials said.

All four children were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, officials said.
