Motorists have been warned after the A1104 road is closed.

Officials have confirmed that part of the A1104 between Mablethorpe and Alford will be closed during the day as repair work begins.

Lincolnshire County Council said the road will be closed from 08:30 to 16:30 GMT for up to three weeks on weekdays. Work will depend on weather conditions.

The closure will affect parts of the A1104 and A1031 which have diversions in place.

Karen Cassar, assistant director of highways, said daylight hours will “provide fairly warm temperatures” that are favorable for road construction.
