Gable Steveson Keeps Door Open for Return to Pro Wrestling

During a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Gable Steveson stated that he wants to leave the door open for a potential return to professional wrestling.

Steveson was released from WWE earlier this year and is preparing to return to college wrestling this upcoming season.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On whether he has any regrets about his time in WWE: “No. I don’t regret anything. I don’t regret going down this path. I don’t regret playing for the Buffalo Bills. I think I had so many great experiences that it was just experience , which you need to learn from and get the business right when you come back next time.”

On whether he’s disappointed with how it ended: “Of course there will be disappointment. I feel like I could do a lot more in the business and last a very long time. But like I said, business will always be business and business doesn’t stop for anyone and it won’t stop for me even if I’m an Olympic champion. So there’s no problem with that. I’m ready to go. “I’m going to wrestle again in college, start over and get back to where I was.”

On whether he’s done with professional wrestling: “No, I would happily leave it open if it was always there. Whatever I do, just keep it open. If that doesn’t work, maybe you can try again. Life is all about chances, and if you get a better chance in the future, take it.”
