Democrats ‘resist’ Americans with Trump roadblocks

Farewell speech to President-elect Donald Trump President Joe Biden worsens the immigration crisis before leaving office.

The Biden administration intends to launch an ICE Portal app in New York in early December that will allow migrants to bypass in-person registration at a local ICE office, sources told the New York Post.

Department of Homeland Security sources said the app would make it easier for migrants to escape from authorities, in part because the software has proven glitchy and unreliable.

Thanks Joe.

This is just another part of the “resistance” Democrats are waging against Trump and his upcoming policies, especially his immigration crackdown and mass deportations. What they don’t realize is that they are also “resisting” the American people who voted for Trump and/or want a stronger border. IN June Gallup Poll, 47% of Americans said they favor “deporting all immigrants who are living in the United States illegally back to their home country.” October Marquette Law School Poll found that 58% of registered voters support “deporting immigrants who are living in the United States illegally back to their countries.”

As CNN noted, respondents in a number of surveys also supported legal routes to citizenship. But this is a far cry from allowing illegal immigrants to fly under the radar by skipping check-ins with ICE. The Post’s sources added that even when it works properly, the new app doesn’t check for past arrests or outstanding warrants — something the current system, tied to in-person appointments, does.

Former acting Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Mark Morgan criticized the Biden administration’s last-minute actions as “the opposite of a peaceful transfer of power.”

“What they’re trying to do on the last final day is they’re going to try to set up as many roadblocks and obstacles as possible and throw as many grenades as they can on the way out.”

Biden’s actions come as sanctuary cities are redoubling their obstructionist efforts to “protect” migrants from ICE deportation. This production coincided with the sentencing Jose IbarraThe 26-year-old illegal immigrant who stalked, raped and murdered nursing student Laken Riley earlier this year reflects the ideological bubble in which progressives live.

Sanctuary communities that had recently lamented the exorbitant costs of housing and caring for migrants, as well as the lack of available space, now appear to have pushed these concerns to the back burner.

Trump wants to strengthen our porous border and tighten immigration policies? Resist, resist, resist.

There has been a fervor of anti-Trump sentiment among Democrats since the election, from women shaving their heads in protest to celebrities leaving a “dystopian” country and some leaders promising to offer asylum to people who broke immigration laws to stay here. .

Trump will return to the White House and begin to implement his policies. Roadblocks erected by Democrats could slow his progress and even stall important action through legal challenges. Sanctuary cities will proudly fly the flag of resistance when illegal migrants arrive.

And then the question will inevitably arise: “What should we do now?”
