CBSE Board Exams 2025 Countdown Begins: These Tips Will Help You Score 90 and Above

With just three months left for the CBSE Board Exams 2025, educators are stressing the importance of early and strategic preparation. While some students have been diligent from the start, others are at risk of falling behind due to procrastination, potentially leading to regrets as the preliminary exams approach.

Dr. Neelima Kamra, Principal, KIIT World School Gurugram, suggested a few key strategies for students aiming to excel in the upcoming exams:

1. Complete the curriculum early: Students are advised to complete the curriculum by the end of November. This will allow you to devote December to revision and practice tests, which are critical to identifying and addressing knowledge gaps.

2. Choose proven resources: It is very important to choose high quality teaching materials. Instead of relying on a few reference books, students should focus on a few reliable textbooks that effectively cover the curriculum.

3. Go beyond NCERT: While NCERT textbooks are essential, students should look for additional resources for a deeper understanding of the subjects, including concept maps and multiple choice questions.

4. Understanding Exam Patterns: Familiarity with CBSE past papers can help students identify frequently tested topics, allowing them to prioritize their study efforts accordingly.

5. Practice regularly under exam conditions: Taking practice tests under specific conditions can boost confidence and improve time management skills, preparing students for the real exam.

6. Improve your answer writing skills: With an emphasis on concise and efficient answers, students should study the model answers of top students and practice solving objective type questions to improve their problem-solving speed.

7. Implement a holistic review: A balanced inspection schedule should be developed, focusing on challenging areas. Techniques such as mind maps and group learning can help improve understanding and retention of key concepts.
