Wallabies will put a spell on Potter

Harry Potter is set to make his Test debut when Harry Wilson returns to lead Australia against Scotland at Murrayfield on Sunday.

Potter will become the Wallabies’ 18th debutant this year and joins last week’s hat-trick hero Tom Wright and right-winger Andrew Kellaway in a back three for the Australians’ third Test of their Grand Slam tour.

The 26-year-old is one of six changes to the starting line-up, with Wilson returning at number 8 and open-side flanker Carlo Tizzano starting for the first time on the UK tour. Rob Valetini moves towards the scrum again.

Joseph Suaali returns to the Edinburgh center with Len Ikitau moving into 12th place in place of the suspended Samu Kerevi. Scrum midfielder Jake Gordon has been recalled to partner midfielder Noah Lolesio.

Head coach Joe Schmidt’s latest change means Jeremy Williams will once again be in the second row alongside Will Skelton. Angus Bell, Matt Fessler and Allan Alaalatoa form the front row.

Loosehead prop Isaac Kiley could make his first appearance on tour if he comes off the bench.

“The week was difficult: due to frost it was not possible to train on the fields, but the group adapted well to the situation,” said Schmidt.

“The core of the Scotland team has been around for a number of years. They are united and capable and we will need to be at our best on Sunday.”
