Nikon supports ‘The New Mental Health’ exhibition, combining photography and painting

LUAP, a multidisciplinary artist who created Photo series “Pink Bear” (a life-size bear that accompanies the artist on his travels around the world and is photographed in all scenarios) is hosting a new and thought-provoking exhibition focusing on mental health.

Lifelines took three years to complete and includes 16 large-scale portraits, as well as a series of photographic portraits taken by LUAP on his trusty Nikon D850. It is in aid of mental health charity Mind.

“The consequences of this event triggered a cascade of other stressful situations. Despite seeking medical help, no one has been able to fully diagnose or cure what is happening to me. My body just seems to rebel and I have come to the conclusion that the physical symptoms I am experiencing are most likely a manifestation of unresolved trauma that I have suffered. It’s an uphill battle, but I know I need to find a way to heal, both physically and emotionally, to get my identity back. well-being.”
