Father, daughter injured in drive-by shooting in Tacoma, suspect remains at large

TACOMA, Washington – An adult man and his teenage daughter were wounded in a drive-by shooting in Tacoma Thursday night, according to Tacoma police.

Police said they received a call about a shooting in the 3400 block of East L Street just after 7 p.m.

Tacoma police also noted that people inside the home heard gunshots before bullets hit the home.

The man and his daughter were taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said.

Both of their conditions are currently unknown. However, police were able to confirm that both victims were shot in the “lower extremities.”

There are no suspects in custody at this time and there is no description of the vehicle or suspect.
