Lane closure on MLK Jr. Boulevard. Plumbing repairs begin today

TAMPA, FL – Drivers on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard West can expect delays starting this morning as the Tampa Water Department completes repairs to a broken water main.

Today, beginning at 9:00 a.m., eastbound outside lane of MLK Jr. Blvd. will be closed between North Havana Avenue and North Tampania Avenue. Crews will work to complete permanent restorations from previous renovations.

The lane closure is expected to last until 5pm on Friday 22 November, weather permitting.

Drivers are urged to use caution in the area and pay attention to signs and barricades directing traffic flow.
